La Bouche

La Bouche was founded in 1994 and was a successful Eurodance duo in the 1990s.

The original line-up consisted of singer Melanie Thornton and rapper D. Lane McCray jr. The first hit, Sweet Dreams (1994), did not rap Lane, but Robert Haynes, who later rapped Le Click (a project in which Thornton sang the song Tonight Is the Night). Lane’s rap part was later re-recorded for the USA. The debut album Sweet Dreams was released in 1995 and was very successful in Europe, Asia and Canada.
